Never expose your ERP to the web. NEVER. 

SQL-Ledger can claim whatever they want. You can read the reasons which lead to 
the creation of the fork LedgerSMB: ¡security issues!

Nobody can guarantee that their software is bullet proof, and the net is full 
of script kiddies with plenty of time to give you a nightmare.

If you need to open connectivity to your ERP think about VPNs, IPSec, tunnels 
or whatever technology wraps your communications in a secure way. Don't trust 
Apache, or IIS, and a password and user.
