Hi All, I've attempted to install and use TinyERP, now OpenERP. over the course of a couple of years and a couple of versions. I had everything working for a brief period of time but, for unknown causes, my connection was broken when I upgraded Ubuntu Fiesty to 8.04, Hardy Heron. Have not been able to reconnect since.
The objective is to get a working customer relations/accounting system. I can get both in separate software packages, but was hoping to use OpenERP for both functions. That has, however, been extremely elusive and quite frustrating. Plus, I need something dependable; not something that will doink out unexpectedly. And, I need to use my time to manage a startup business, not to manage a software package. So, here are my connection parameters for the database (thru pgAdmin III since I'm not a command line guy) and the etc/default/tinyerp-server file. I hope someone can help. pgAdmin III: host name -- localhost port -- 5432 (I've also tried 5433.) username -- terp password -- admin database name -- worx database owner -- terp tinyerp-server: tcp port -- 8069 interface -- localhost username -- terp database name -- worx database username -- worxguy database password -- not set database host -- not set database port -- 5432 thanks, worxguy _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
