I totally agree with the comments about separating the machines, or using virtualisation for a production scenario of any scale. I am mainly interested in getting the packaging as sensible as possible on Debian/Ubuntu, such that someone can just do a default install and then "apt-get install openerp-web openerp-server" and end up with a pretty solid out of the box configuration for a pilot project or a deployment for a very small business.
