Hello, I agree, the CRM of the current stable is not as good as the one of SugarCRM. We have some strong advantages (email integration, dms integration, ...) but the basic things like leads and opportunities are currently better in SugarCRM.
But I suggest you to test the CRM of the trunk branch (v5.2 of OpenERP) it's far more advanced than SugarCRM. We reviewed everything: * leads, opportunties, quotations, sales * partners, contacts, relations, * meeting, phonecall And quite advanced for example the meetings now support: alarms, recurring events, caldav synchro with your mobile phones, invitation to several people, ...
