Hi Jay,
I am planning to use the hyperlinktech external antenna HG2407RD-SM
with the Tmote. Could you tell me the particular SMA female
connector you soldered to the TMote circuit board?
I can find many SMA female connectors, but I am not exactly sure
they will fit in though.
Thanks
Kami

Hi Manu,
Moteiv has documentation about this on their website:
http://www.moteiv.com/community/Adding_an_External_Antenna_to_Tmote_Sky
In the past, I've used antennas from hyperlinktech.com - the part number for
the part we used is HG2407RD-SM.
Cheers.

Hello,Why do you think there will be a problem? I use Delta (which uses
multihop) on Moteiv Tmotes with a 1% low power duty cycle and have no
problems.SimonRE:Hi,Maybe someone that knows the inner working of tinyos (or at
least more than me) can answer this: Is it safe to assume I'll have a problem
using multihop with low power modes?thanks in advance, Bruce

hi all,
i am using delta application on tmote sky but when i changed the sampling
frequency to 100Hz most of the packets were getting lost even with only 3-4
nodes, i also tried to change the packet size to include more reading in one
packet by changing AM_DELTAMSG but then it stopped sending
can somebody please tell how to solve this problem
thank you

I installed TinyOS on openSUSE 10.2 couple of days ago.
Now I'm trying to check if my installation was correctly so typed
"tos-check-env" in the terminal shell..
however, i got these errors! :
tos-check-env completed with errors:
--> WARNING: CLASSPATH environment variable doesn't exist.
Your classpath should contain and a pointer
to the cwd (a dot)
--> WARNING: No flex in current path.
--> WARNING: No bison in current path.
--> WARNING: No dot in current path.
--> WARNING: tos-check-env could not find the 'dot' executable which is part of
the AT&T Graphviz package. Please install version 1.1.0 of Graphviz if you'd
like to use the nescdoc documentation generator. If Graphviz is already
installed, then dot may not be in your PATH.
so, what shall I do now?
thanks in advance.

Hi all
I'm conducting experiments that measure the time a process takes
I was using the gettime32( ) function call of SystimeM to do so
while it says that it provides a 921.6 khz timer for mica2 and a 500khz timer
for mica2dot it does not say what is used in micaz
can someone let me know how to go about doing this
Thanks
Bhuvana

I believe both the 2 and Z use the same controller crystal so
they should have the same timing.

Subject: Re: [Tinyos-help] CC2420 RSSI Question
Message: 8
A few weeks ago I asked the mailing list, whether it would make sense to
include an interface into the standard tinyos stack for sampling RSSI
values at any time. There were no answers to this question, so I ask it
again, this time with some proposed modifications.
Dave, you can extract the files from the attached archive into your
application's directory. You can then simply wire to the
CC2420ControlC's readRSSI interface.
Cheers,
Urs
