Hi Birger,

I seem to remember someone doing a DBExpress layer at some point. There was
at least talk of it. In any event, writing a new persistence layer isn't too
difficult. You'd be looking at probably an afternoon's work - a day tops to
get something working.

Cheers,

Andy

Subject: [tiOPF-talk] tiOPF and MySQL / Delphi 2010

From the newsgroup I think I can conclude that there is no way to have
tiOPF work with MySQL and Delphi 2010 (There is no Zeoslib for Delphi 2010).

I'm thinking about writing tiQueryMySQL, using dbExpress. Before I try
to do anything stupid or impossible... Are there any problems to be
expected or can I just be inspired by the other tiQuery units and hack a
MySQL version together?

I welcome your advise!

Kind regards from Delft,
   Birger Jansen
