So, Paul, you just accept the very issues I have been talking about for years?  
To
paraphrase Edmund Burke, it declines because good people remain silent.  I 
guess that’s
the difference between us.  I don’t accept it and won’t remain silent.  Maybe 
that’s why
some are irritated with me.  Don’t know.  What I do know is that I’m a “There 
is the
teaching” guy and I don’t accept as I once did “then there is teaching.”  If in 
your
opinion that be self-delusional, “egregiously inappropriate,” so be it.  I for 
one just
won’t go quietly into the educational good night.
