It seems to me that Canadians are earlier users of a variety of high technologies than Americans (thought not always, by any means). I don't know the reason for this. It may be due to the fact that Canadians have a somewhat higher level of median affluence (so a higher proportion are able to take up mid-priced technologies), or that Canadians are concentrated more heavily in urban areas (about 80% in the Canada). I believe cell phone use was higher in Canada earlier than in the US as well. And Canadians use debit cards like crazy whereas they had some trouble catching on in the US. /Chacun/ ¨ /son go¨t!/
