Karl My (limited) experience is that the books are pretty much the same. But the quality is/can-be uneven. Not that errors never occur with US texts, but my students have had more problems with the international versions (my experience is mainly with Asian students buying texts through international means- the costs can vary widely also). I tend to tell them to buy from reliable sources or the bookstore. If something goes wrong and they have purchased through the bookstore or a reputable dealer the publishers will, in my experience anyway, get a replacement immediately. Otherwise they are on their own. Not much information I know but that is the nature of the beast. :) Tim _______________________________ Timothy O. He told me he could buy this text in the "international edition" for half the price of the regular edition, and he wants to know if this is the same text. I have no idea. What do you all know about so-called international editions of text books? Cheers, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Karl L.
