What I was worried about with an internet sharing over dialup is that the tivo unit isn't going to understand a really slow connection, and I think much of the tivo content is uploaded with the network, and it's often rather large, so it's like to work poorly, even if slow.
Why no dsl or cable ? They are pretty cheap these days, especially if you're already using a second phone line for the computer. Glen
