Once upon a time Dave Schultheis shaped the electrons to say... > Finding the sensors is not a problem, I can see them. The > instructions say to put them one to 1.5 inches away, and the arms > aren't quite long enough, but I'm doing the best I can.
That's really just to make sure the IR signal hits the sensor - since the arms generally put the emitted above/below the level of the sensor. Too close and the angle may block the line of sight. So as long as the sensor can see the emitter, you're fine. > The DTA comes with a remote sensor that can be installed on the front > of your equipment cabinet if you don't want to look at the Comcast box > and the green LED all the time. In that case the other suggestion of bundling them directly together may be the best option. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.GizmoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
