One option for making a DVD is to simply burn the .tivo file to a disk, and then use the Tivo Desktop software to watch it, simply install it on what ever computer you use to watch the movie on. No, it doesn't create a playable DVD, for that I simply "save to VCR" the program and it plays back onto the TV, and my DVD recorder picks it up. The quality is pretty good, but obviously not real digital any longer since it went digi-analog-digi but I really haven't felt the need to put stuff on disk unless it was being sent to someone else.
