Your bedroom TiVo is the common denominator here, and it's most likely a signal 
strength issue.  Go Messages & Settings, and then Network & Phone (this is from 
my memory on my series 2) and see what percentage it reports for the signal.  
Probably your bedroom TiVo is getting a weaker connection to your wireless 
router than your daughter's or the living room units.

You can play around with the placement of your wireless adapter to see if you 
can get a better signal.  If you've not lifted the top of your wireless 
adapters you should.  There is an antenna there, and it works best when pointed 
straight up.

Distance, number of walls and their composition all degrade wireless signals.  
If you can't get a better signal and really want to speed up the copies your 
other options are to move your router closer, or switch one or more of your 
TiVos to wired connections.  Though not as convenient, wired connections will 
be much faster than wireless.
