Here you sent a message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I believe this is through
tmda-ofmipd)...

...to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The test2 account appears to have TMDA set up
correctly, because...

...tmda-filter (running for the test2 account) generates a
confirmation request back to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

> 2003-11-29 14:42:56.337991500 delivery 33: success: did_0+0+1/
> 2003-11-29 14:42:56.338160500 end msg 1520808

The original delivery (from test to test2 through tmda-ofmipd)
completes successfully. TMDA logs no errors and qmail considers that
delivery to be complete.

Now, the confirmation request that test2 sent to test-dated-xxx fails
and I cannot see any reason why it should. The message should be
handled by the .qmail-test-default file, which you have correctly
linked to .qmail-test.

Can you send mail from test2 to test, *without* going through
tmda-ofmipd and let me know if that works? Actually, from any user
that doesn't have TMDA involved... [EMAIL PROTECTED] would be fine.
Just make sure that it is to test, not test2 or test3.

If that works, can you also reverse the test and mail from test to
test2, again *not* using tmda-ofmipd. In your test above, test2's
TMDA installation successfully responded to the message by sending a
confirmation. I'd like to see the results when tmda-ofmipd is not
involved of exactly that same test. I want to know if, when test
receives the confirmation request, it dies in the same way.

Thanks,

Tim
