Tica,
I agree with you that TMDA is the best CR system available. As for HTML
messages being larger than their text counterparts, that is true, they
should be no less than double the size since they should be a
multi-part/alternative formated mime message containing both the HTML
version of the response, and a clear text version so that the recipients
mail reader can choose which version to render based on the users
preferences.
A problem is that if MIME compliant responses are made available through
TMDA most users are not going to consider this point and would only
create the HTML version, which would leave TMDA with the task of either
including an HTML to Text renderer (not likely) or just passing the
poorly created response as is leaving users of non HTML compliant mail
readers faced it a bunch of HTML codes. Of course I have no idea how
many text only mail clients are out there that don't have some form of
HTML Text rendering capabilities.
Personally I wouldn't mind having the ability to create HTML responses,
but I've never desired it enough to pursue modifying the code to enable
the capability.

Hello Dave,
Thanks indeed for your prompt reply!
I understando that HTML messages are bigger than txt messages... Maybe
this is the main problem...
I also understand the TMDA creator position, but I think that is an
option to TMDA users... I'm researching a lot of challenge/response
anti-spam methods... TMDA is really the best, I just think that could
have this option. :)
Thanks again!!! :)

Hi Tica,
The original creator of TMDA believed strongly against sending out
HTML formated responses and as such did not enable TMDA to create
HTML formated confirmations.
I have no idea if the powers that be have any intention of
altering this situation, but for the time being at least TMDA can
only create text based responses.

Hello,
I'm trying to configure confirm_request using HTML... but is not
working.
Do I need to change any configuration to TMDA send confirmation
HTML messages? How can I configure confirm_request.txt with HTML ?
Thanks in advance!
