Hi Gilly, Rod has been on Lipitor for quite a while now (genetic cholesterol problems) and it has been great at lowering everything, no side effects experienced. We read up also - (be alert, not alarmed!) so I think if you decide to take it you need to weight up the benefits of lower cholesterol against side effects and be aware of what may occur.
