Indeed, me also suspects an allergic reaction to (certain types of) shell fish.
 
Here in Elvisland, me missus, the one with MS, she eats anything she wants, anytime, anywhere, anyhow...... including crabs' legs, lobster, octopus, oysters, eel, soft shell crabs,
crawfish,  and hoo-noes what other creepy crawly weird stuff.   
And so far ....... no nada nuthin nowheres aftereffects or adverse reactions of any kind.
 
I guess it all has to do with each individual and allergies within.

Perhaps he has acquired an allergic reaction to that type of shellfish, which is not uncommon.  Terry eats shellfish frequently without any adverse reactions, particularly if he kills the parasites with tequila....
