As a final resort, I had the spinal tap.  I suffer from migraines and I just knew it was going to deprive me of comfort and peace for a few days (migraines can be debilitating).  Guess what? It did and I was angry with my neurologist because the results from it were not helpful.  However, I wanted to be sure to do all that I had to do in order to get to a diagnosis.

I will never let a doctor talk me into that again.
