Frank, Thank you very much. Your information has been quite helpful. I did not know that neuropathy pain does not respond well to opiates. My doctor told me that my next step will be methadone. I told her to forget the methadone and just give me the heroine, LOL! I have never been to a pain specialist. I will see if I can find one available at the University of Michigan Hospital. I currently just see a Physical Medicine and Rehab doctor. I don't even see a neurologist. Apparently I am uninformed. I have had the mindset to change doctors. Now I know I need to give all she's going to do is prescribe more medicines that are not working for me. Thanks for the information. Naomi
