Wondering if anyone uses help in your own home. Looking for
light cooking, laundry and cleaning. How did you find your help?
Do any government agencies subsidize the cost? Do you trust your
help?
My help was vetted by an agaency. I'm limited to two subsidized hours a week.
The subsidy from United Way makes the part I pay what i would expect to pay
going solo: $12/ hour. sigh arghh
She uses her own car to shop for me--- old story no transportation in
this town.
There's another group that gave me a vetted private pay list. I called 4 people
who listed light yard work to help me get into my backyard and only one
even returned the call.... sorry I digress.
Try your United Way, your Disability and your Senior Agency.
