I remember the creator being interviewed some years ago on the radio...
The thing I remember about it was how he would get mail on how real it was or on some things to use...for example, he was told about a company that bought laptops for it's sales people...Well the company had spent money, wouldn't want them stolen...so they had the laptops chained to the desks...
Portable computers chained down...

Yes, everyone should be aware of talking to the Trolls in Accounting during
Budget season. We all had that strip posted at our desks.
Another fave, which we took to heart at work, was the infamous "empty
cubicles" one. It was so appropriate for our office, where we had so many
people laid off, due to the restructuring. By the end, we had "Phil De
Cube", "M.T. Cube", "D.Z. Cube", "Rube X. Cube" and "Ima Cube"...
