What do you mean my "latest version" of the origin? Isn't this version the
same as from the original comic? It's always been my preferred version, so I
have no problems with it. And I'm sure Splinter will be relating the story
of Yoshi and Saki for the Turtles and April soon enough.
As for bringing back other cartoon characters, I personally won't be
disappointed if we never see Bebop and Rocksteady or any other characters
that were made for the old cartoon. I like the fact that this new show is
serious and more realistic than the old one... and I'd like it to stay that
way. Unless those old characters are changed in a way that makes them a
believable part of the story (and not just bumbling idiots that mess up
Shredder's plans every week) I'll be happy with them remaining as a part of
the original cartoon only.

Since I can't seem to shake the blue line and don't want to be confused with what MC wrote....
As for the police...It was easier to see Kevin than Peter...since I've only seen pics of Peter...I couldn't be sure how accurate that was of him...
Well...don't think Shredder making Bebop and Rocksteady would be believable in this universe...and it doesn't seem that this Shredder would put up with the bumbling anyway...Maybe replace them with a more powerful animal in trying to be the turtles....though all he's seen so far is a mouser infa-red image...
As for the origin story...Yes this is the real story...though I'm still wondering how a rat could really know ninjitsu...I know the first movie and original comics are true.......though I have also heard that the 1st movie had a lot of criticisms from Mom's crying about the violence of it and kids complaining that the origin story was wrong because it wasn't the cartoon...*Shrugs*
Duane - who, for the record, doesn't know or care if the rhino was Bebop or Rocksteady....
