Woops yes I wrote the wrong thing it was suppose to be disappear. You have found the cause or at least narrowed down the code parts that need to be checked. I already sent a message to the list with my thoughts on where to check and how. I unfortunately do not have a 5.0 environment here to test with so we will have to rely on another member to hopefully debug it. > > >> Next, > >> > >> When I'm in insert mode and on an empty field of only 1 character, I > can't > >> enter anything because TN5250j says 'there is no room to insert > anything'. > >> Why, not even one character? > >> > >> > > Nope you can insert with character. Aaaahhhhh. Ok what you need to do is define a property file for each different session. When you set up the properties for a session you need to specify a file name in the "Configuration File Name" field under Options. I always name mine with a .props ending like: luxdev.props luxprod.props parisdev.props parisprod.props You can change that entry by selecting a connection and hitting the Properties button. When that screen comes up you will select the third tab named Options and it will be the first field. Of course you will need to shutdown the connection and reopen it for the file to take effect. Let me know if that does it. Regards Kenneth > > > >> BTW, I use tabbed sessions.
