Thanks John, I hadn't removed the the files from the Work directory earlier. However, on your suggestion I did so.. But I stll have the same problem. This time however, if I start Tomcat manually from the Program Files -> startup, it works fine. But that does not serve my purpose since I need to run Tomcat as a service. Any suggestions where is Apache getting the old classes from. Thanks a lot, Runu
