I gave up on 160M DXing about 4 years ago when just about every DXpedition was
doing the 160 contacts on FT8. Not everyone, but literally 90%. It just got
way too frustrating to see DXpedition after DXpedition talk about getting on
160 and "maybe" doing one night with CW and then complaining how hard it was
and doing the rest as FT8. Or skipping the one night altogether. If you
aren't willing to do FT8 on 160 or 6M, just "hang up the skates and call it a
day" on DXing either of those 2 bands.

As an active contester, I have a formidable 160M presence and keep it up for
that purpose. Last I heard, only CW contacts count in 160M CW contests 😊

Phased T top verticals separated by 1/2 wavelength with 60 radials under each.
Beverages in numerous directions on 25 VERY quiet acres here in Vermont. I
actually abandoned my SW and SE beverages as they were only used for DXing.
Now I have N/S, NE, W, and JA.

It is very sad that 160 DXing has come to an end for many of us. There was
nothing better on a cold snowy winter night. Sigh....
