Here is my understanding:

First, there are 2 facets of repository in local disk:

* How was it made? (init or clone)
* Which is the source if it cloned from other? (local or remote)

* [A] init: create a new repository from scratch using "hg init"
* [B] clone: clone from other repository using "hg clone"

* [X] local: means local disk
* [Y] remote: means central repository

Actual behaviors:

* A: N/A
* B-X: Set clone path as default
* B-Y: Set clone path as default

Next, your opinion:

* A: (I couldn't understand)
* B-X: Don't set as default
* B-Y: Set clone path as default (Keep actual behavior)
