  The trace snippet

{{{
[2904] [THG] findHgRoot(C:\xampp\htdocs\screen\twitter.png): hgroot =
'C:\xampp\htdocs\screen' (found repo)
[2904] [THG] Dirstatecache::get: lstat(C:\xampp\htdocs\screen\.hg\dirstate) ok
[2904] [THG] Dirstatecache::get: reading C:\xampp\htdocs\screen
[2904] [THG] Dirstatecache::get: ignored (unset entries)
}}}

shows that there are unset entries in the dirstate file. These should indeed be
fixed by thgtaskbar.exe (if it is running and working as expected, as Steve
hinted).

See http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/DirState for an explanation about the
dirstate.

If you do a "hg status" in a cmd.exe (aka "Command Prompt") inside that repo,
what happens?

Is thgtaskbar.exe running?

What do you see in the event log of the rpc server ("thgtaskbar.exe")? Right
klick on the icon in the taskbar an choose "Options...", then click tab event
log. Keep that dialog open and do "update icons" in the context menu in
explorer.
