I think my vote is -0 ... do it if you must.

A logical consequence of such a change would be to change the project name
to Mercurial Toolkit ("hgtk").

It would be nice if it defined some API (e.g. the possibility to open a
"hgtk shell" so you could send commands through a pipe) to use if somebody
else wanted to build a new TortoiseHg with shell integration.
