Searching on-line, I see that this problem occurred in early versions of
TortoiseSVN/CVS as well.

I don't have any icon overlay handlers loaded. *Every single reference*
to "Tortoise" has been removed from my computer and my registry. I've
rebooted. I've deleted in my iconcache.db. I even installed and
uninstalled Tortoise 0.4rc1 to see if that would make a difference.

So far... I'm stuck with these unwanted icons.

Ideas? Please?
