not all python25.dll's are the same.  As to why it would pick up
another version first.. it's because py2exe and PyGtk's library
loaders are both enormous hacks.  I've given up trying to predict what
strangeness they do when combined together.

This still looks like a DLL conflict.  All of the main TortoiseHg
developers use THG like this every day, I do not know why it bites
just a few users.  It sure looks like a version skew issue.

Please try the dependency walker on _gobject.pyd on your machine.
