True. Thanks. Perhaps I'll do that. Still, I'd like to know if I've screwed up something in my system that's preventing me from installing from the PPA or if it's just not listed in the Packages files (which should be fixed so newbies can install). I don't know enough about the packages to say for certain, but I suspect that's the problem.
