Hi,
I've just run into the same issue (not being able to get latest 2.0 using
the ppa).
I think that's related to the fact that the 2.0 build for the ppa is broken.
You can see this information using the "See package details" on
https://launchpad.net/~tortoisehg-ppa/+archive/releases<https://launchpad.net/%7Etortoisehg-ppa/+archive/releases>that
leads to
https://launchpad.net/~tortoisehg-ppa/+archive/releases/+packages<https://launchpad.net/%7Etortoisehg-ppa/+archive/releases/+packages>that
show a build error.
I think that whoever is maintaining the ppa has to fix the build before the
2.0 ppa can be used.
