Don't restrict yourself to wi-fi... Powerline adaptors such as Devolo will let you connect SB devices to the router without extra cabling. The key issue is going to be how well the SB Controller can talk to the router, since that has to be wi-fi. Other alternatives include using an iPod Touch as a wi-fi controller instead of the Duet Controller...
