IMHO opinion, you don't need it in your case since you only replace a
image, so I'd suggest that you just skip it. The purpose is just to
make 100% sure that the person that has done the zip file is the same
person that hosts the repository xml file if the repository file and
zip file is stored on different servers.

If you still want to use it, you will need to:
1. Create your zip file as usual
2. Open a command prompt
3. Run the command: sha1sum.exe YourZipFile.zip

Point 3 should output a checksum in the command prompt window, which
you should copy into the repository xml file.
