I think it's related. I had the same issue in my thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77523 about a missing clock. After a power interruption, it seems that the Touch needs to connect to the internet to get the clock going again. Otherwise in "Off" or "Stopped" all I got was the Now Playing screen.
