I'm now a happy guy. Yesterday I bought a Seagate FreeAgent GO 320 GB usb hdd. And it works. Without the issues I had with my WD Essential passport drive.
I woke up and just turned on the Touch and pressed to play Some Bob Marley tunes. And volila: Sweet music at the press of a button.
