Most people find that the best way to do this is have a separate directory for each album, with all the FLACs for that album in the directory. Then add a single cover.jpg in that directory. The server will know that the one image gets used for all the FLAC files. This genarally works better than each file containing the same image. IF you want each track use a different picture then you have to embed them in the file, otherwise a single separate image file usually works better.
If you already have albums arranged in separate directories you just have to add the cover art files to that same directory. (make sure they are all cover.jpg not whatever album specific file name you get off the net) No need to modify the FLAC files in ANY way, just stick the images files in the album directory and the server takes care of the rest.
