Wasn't that my suggestion if one doesn't want to use the less then 9
Watts by leaving it running, "one might as well Eject the USB Drive and
unplug the Touch also"? I guess from where I sit the 9 Watts is
basically nothing in the grand scheme of things and it is my opinion
that powering down and powering up (and the scanning that goes along
with that) is harder on the drive then just leaving it running 24/7 in
a stable state. Just my opinion YMMV.

The part I was talking about being unhappy with is how TinySC deals
with USB Drives that like to sleep, spin down, or are external powered
and power is removed and/or reapplied. That's all I was saying. Sorry
if that wasn't clear. I have no problem with ejecting the USb HD and
powering off every time in general. Its just that I use my Touch so
much, I feel its unnecessary wear and tear on the USB HD.
