I think I've only said it twice... Apologies, let me try again. (deep breath) I personally find the Touch to provide a significant, but not life-changing, advance in sound quality over the SB3 via either output. This is my personal opinion, based on my ears/brain and system (and choice of music) and is backed up only in part by some measurements - which may be meaningless. YMMV.
