I've never used the VBA how quiet is it ? even if its fanless some harddrive whirring could be heard. Having a PC in hifi rack eh . I do stream to multiple players. But i still connect my Touch with ethernet . Another thing a wifi router the best placement for use with your laptop or phone or similar might not be the hifi rack . When I get more ethernet ready stuff in my hifi rack I would simply place a switch there.
