Basic diagnostics to test this issue: - Try wiring all devices to eliminate WiFi issues (player, server, library source). - As suggested, turn off ALL other processes on the NAS. - Try playing same files on a full wired computer running SBS (just move a lossless album to computer).
I can play play full WAV's synced to four SB players (three are WiFi including a Touch) without even a hiccup.
