I use it occasionally at least daily . But why do you think it's expensive ? the old vfd screens are expensive ,not this . I don't think it's such a big deal on it's price . A normal LCD screen vs a touch screen ? how much would it differ ? I consider it well worth having, even if you only ever use for the setup and diagnostics and then for screensaver . Imho a squeezebox should be possible to setup from itself or a nice web-gui.
