of course one can (and I do all the above), but if the OP (or his wife)
likes to see the touch (and the screen info) sitting in a particular
spot in your house, a second touch would do the job (and maybe in a
cleaner way than sitting a laptop in the same spot, or carrying around
an iphone/itouch.
