First you need a good linear power suplly, than carefully arranged
network, well configured SBS and some software tweaks.

One good DAC can bring SBT in another class. At the beginning i was
using Touch with old DPA DX32 Dac, later i have built one DAC around
Gigaworks DAC with Jensen Transformers at the output

and finally i have built Buffalo II Dac

and the sound is better than ever.

If you don't have any DIY skills, than you have to pay a lot for a good
DAC :)

With a good linear power supply Touch sounds OK and something like
Cambridge DACmagic or Musical Fidelity Vdac is not a great improvement,
you need at least something like Lavry DA11 or Benchmark HDR to make
Touch sound really better.

If possible, borrow a DAC and see if you hear improvement in your
system, just make your own opinion :)

These are my 5 cents.
