You must have one wacky Touch. My two year old Touch uses My Music > Music Folder just fine via USB, they are all there in exactly the location and order of my files. In fact, this is how many listen to a newly added album/song without even having to rescan. They appear almost instantly upon plugging in USB or starting the Touch's server.
