No, not using AV receiver, but have a cable box and Blu-ray player that
connect to TV via HDMI cables.  My receiver is the HK 3490 which does
have Toslink & Coax digital inputs so I might try them at some point
for comparison.  

The analog inputs on the receiver are labeled CD and sound pretty good
to me.

Should the Touch volume also be set to 100% for analog out or only for
coax/toslink out?
