No, not using AV receiver, but have a cable box and Blu-ray player that connect to TV via HDMI cables. My receiver is the HK 3490 which does have Toslink & Coax digital inputs so I might try them at some point for comparison. The analog inputs on the receiver are labeled CD and sound pretty good to me.
