Its all under software control so will only be the case if the software
supports this and works as intended...  If the dac has a configuration
to force it into 1.1 mode I would be reasonably confident it will work.
If not and it "negotiates" to a lower rate then I am less confident.  I
think you would be the first person trialing it with a high speed
device.
