All, hopefully we've now moved beyond trying to convince the OP that the bit values are not being changed by the Touch at full volume and without replay gain etc.
What I wanted to raise is whether asynch USB fully eliminates the influence of the source computer. It would seem that one needs both asynch USB with very good galvanic insulation to make that a probably outcome. Comments? I would ideally like to have seen an optical interface that can provide rate control feedback to the source computer (Touch or Mac or PC).
