Hi, I installed the EDO app in my SBT, and am awaiting receipt of a McIntosh C50 Audio Preamplifier. I am a old-timer hifi wise, with a nice 2 channel setup, used with SACD, CD, vinyl, and, for the last year or so, a SBT. I have been using the digital coax out on the SBT into a Krell prepro for 2 channel (source data are FLAC files, mostly 16/44, some 24/96, on my network server, a win7 PC). It sounds pretty good. I am getting the McIntosh C50 in a few days, and my question regards whether now that I have installed the EDO app, can I can run a USB cable from the SBT usb out directly into the C50's USB digital audio input. The C50 specs say it has a "Digital USB Input, 2.0, 32/192 Asynchronous", and that you can "Connect a USB cable with (type A to type B) connectors from the C50 USB D/A Input to an available USB connector." I know from reading the thread and some other sources that a power usb hub is needed between the SBT and the USB input to the DAC. Am I correct that with the McIntosh C50, no hub is needed, and I can just run a usb cable between the SBT and C50? This may be a 'stupid' or simple question, so thanks for the help on it. Best, Mark
