The Transporter is closed source with only Logitech having the ability
to add features to it.  I think we can therefore discount any likelihood
of higher sample rates being added.  I also believe that if the
processing hardware was powerful enough for it, Logitech would have
supported it when first released.  There have been problems with 96k
decode when certain other functions are running on the cpu (e.g. display
scrolling), so I would suggest that 96k is probably the stable maximum
performance.
